Trinity Co. constable dead at 91

TRINITY COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -
Trinity County Pct. 3 Constable James Reynolds died Friday morning at the age of 91. He had served in the position for 27 years.
 
According to Pct. 1 Constable Woody Wallace, Reynolds was retired from the US military and Texas Prison system. He was also a firefighter.
 
Visitation for Reynolds will be held Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Waller-Thorton Funeral home and services will be at the River of Life Church on Thursday at 4 p.m.
 
Wallace described Reynolds as a dedicated man to the community.
 
Trinity County Judge Steven Page said county commissioners would determine the next steps for the open position on Monday.
