Proud of East Texas: "Sister to Sister"

Sisters Melissa Bennett and Ashley Randall are cooking up success with their family recipe for pecan chocolate chip cookies. For years, they baked the cookies for family and friends, but in June of 2011, they turned the family recipe into "Sister to Sister Cookies." In addition to tweaking the original recipe, they've created delicious new versions: oatmeal raisin with walnuts, oatmeal raisin without nuts, snickerdoodles, plain chocolate chip, and white chocolate macadamia.

The cookies are baked fresh daily and can be ordered by calling 903-561-7733 or on the website at www.sistertosistercookies.com. They can also be picked up at the Sister to Sister kiosk on Tyler's South Loop 323, across from Robert E. Lee High School.
