Tobacco Shop Robbery Update

A robbery last night in Huntington left the Tobacco Shop several hundred dollars short, and one employee burning in the eyes from mace.

Tobacco Shop employees say a man walked in wearing pantyhose of all things on his head and demanded the money in the register. He said he had a gun and attempted to spray the employee with mace.

"I didn't notice anything different about him because I wasn't looking at his pantyhose, and he tapped my counter and told me to put the money on the counter," said Kristyn Klaes, Tobacco Shop employee.

After Kristyn gave the robber the money, he sprayed the mace again, hitting her in the face and eyes. After leaving, Kristyn contacted Huntington Police. We spoke with them earlier and they say they are looking at surveillance video and trying to get a picture of the suspects face.
