Lufkin man going to jail for pill deals

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

A Lufkin man will be in jail for a year after pleading guilty to dealing Hydrocodone in 2011.

Robert Jewel Dukes, 39, accepted three concurrent one-year state jail sentences after pleading guilty to three counts of delivery of a dangerous drug in Judge Gerald Goodwin's court.

Deputies with the Angelina County Sheriff's Office arrested Dukes following an undercover operation in which he sold Hydrocodone pills to a confidential informant.
