WALB has confirmed that Edward Christian of Valdosta is among the dead in a shooting at an Auburn, Alabama apartment complex last night.
Police say three people were killed and three others wounded.
One remains in Critical Condition.
Lowndes High School Coach Randy McPherson confirmed that Christian was among those killed.
McPherson says Auburn head coach Gene Chizik called him this morning.
Christian was a highly recruited offensive lineman at Lowndes High School who signed to play football at Auburn in February 2010.
He was injured and not on the team but remained at Auburn as a student.
The two others killed are identified as Ladarious Phillips, 20, and Demario Pitts, 20.
Those wounded are: Xavier Moss, John Robertson and Eric Mack.
Robertson is in critical Condition at a Hospital in Birmingham.
3 of the victims are either current or former Auburn Football Players.
Police say a fight started about 10pm Saturday at University Apartments in Auburn.
Police believe Desmonte Leonard shot and killed the three.
Police are searching for Desmonte Leonard of Montgomery, Alabama.
Police say Leonard is not associated with the football team.
Three capital Murders warrants for Leonard who is considered armed and dangerous.
Police are looking for two other persons of interest whose names were not released.
