Just hours after KTRE aired a Crime Stoppers' piece on an at-large suspect, Lufkin Police arrested her on the outstanding warrant early Tuesday.
According to Nacogdoches Police spokesman Sgt. Greg Sowell, a Crime Stoppers tip was called into Nacogdoches early Tuesday. The tip was passed to Lufkin Police, who arrested Stephanie Renee Williams, 49, of Lufkin, at a residence in the 100 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard without incident, according to Lufkin Police spokesman Det. JB Smith.
Williams is convicted of felony theft and was wanted on a probation violation warrant.
