Lufkin woman gets 10 years for dealing crack

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

A judge has sentenced a Lufkin crack cocaine dealer to 10 years in prison.

Judge Gerald Goodwin sentenced Velma Henry, 38, to 10 and two-year sentences, which will be run concurrently.

According to a police report, Henry met up with a confidential informant to sell crack cocaine on two separate occasions in 2010.

Police obtained warrants for Henry's arrest on April 5 and May 23 and arrested her in September.

Henry pleaded guilty in April.
