4-vehicle crash slowing traffic, 3 acre brush fire in SW Smith County

SMITH COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

There's quite a bit of activity in the southwestern part of Smith County.

Multiple fire departments are on the scene of a four-vehicle crash on Highway 155.

This crash happened within the past half-hour near the intersection with Big Eddy Road. The vehicles have been moved from the roadway, but southbound traffic is slow.

The number of injuries is unknown at this time.

Also off of Big Eddy Road, fire crews are responding to a brush fire, that's burned close to 3 acres. Crews are still on the scene putting this fire out.
