NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - A Nacogdoches entrepreneur and motivational speaker is helping people actually look forward to Mondays.

Mable Cannings is reaching out to readers, listeners and individuals face to face.

After 23 years of motivating people, Mable  has learned one common distaste most all of us share.

"Monday, because everybody hates Mondays," she said.

Cannings weekly Internet newsletter turns the Monday's blues into something much more productive.

"Motivational Mondays. It's an inspirational newsletter," said Cannings.

The newsletter pops up on viewers computer screens a couple of hours before Canning's Internet radio show.

"They go to," she said.

Every Monday morning at 8:30, listeners hear a pre-recorded conversation between Cannings and a special guest.

Cannings addressed the goal in her first show.

"To empower women around the globe. Women who are hurting, lost, broke, struggling, going around and around because they are looking for that sweet spot, but they don't know how to get it," said Cannings.

About three and half million weekly listeners tune into the network's various programs.

Cannings is hopeful her show will become among the top choices. But she doesn't want to lose that personal touch.

Each fourth Monday of the month, she hosts a listening party for women wanting to get ahead in life.

"Starting July, the 23rd, at 8:30 a.m. We will host a women's breakfast here at the Fredonia Hotel," said Cannings.

Cannings has the confidence her discussions will build the confidence of others.

"Such that they believe in themselves and they're able to take that gifting and talent to another level," said Cannings.

She wants Mondays and every day to be used to unleash your potential.

Cannings shows can be heard anytime of the day or night.
