Dez Bryant arrested two weeks before training camp

First reported by WFAA in Dallas Lufkin native and former Panther stand out Dez Bryant was arrested Monday in DeSoto, Texas. It is not yet clear what exactly led to the arrest.

DeSoto police are expected to release details on the arrest Tuesday. However, Dallas TV station KDFW reports that Bryant was charged with a Class A misdemeanor for assaulting a female family member.

Meanwhile Cowboys camp is set to begin in two weeks. The 2010 draft pick out of Oklahoma State has 15 career touchdowns as a Cowboys wide receiver and is expected to be a big contributor along side Miles Austin in 2012.
