Nacogdoches Co. felon charged with gun offense

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

A federal grand jury has indicted a Nacogdoches County felon accused of illegally owning a gun.

Jordan Shaquille Yarbrough, 21, of Fort Worth, is charged with felon in possession of a firearm. The grand jury indictment was filed on July 11 and Yarbrough was booked into the Angelina County Jail on Monday.

According to the indictment, Yarbrough possessed a Hi-Point nine-millimeter semi-automatic pistol on March 11.

He is scheduled for an initial appearance Tuesday afternoon.
