Nacogdoches Co. deputy arrests 3 in coke bust

NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - A Nacogdoches County traffic stop ended with the discovery of a kilogram of cocaine and the arrests of three men Tuesday morning on US 59 South.

Jay Dion Kyles, 21, of Katy; Jamal Aundra Weeks, 19, of Katy; and Kevin Aundra Weeks, 42, of Houston, are each charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance.

According to the arrest report, a deputy stopped a Dodge passenger car on US 59 South after the driver violated a traffic offense. The deputy reported suspicious behavior and got consent to search the vehicle. He found more than a kilogram of cocaine hidden in the trunk area, according to the report.
