NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - Hungry customers are lining up to support American veterans putting a new concession stand to work in Nacogdoches.

Wednesday, the American Legion Post 86 rolled out its custom-built kitchen at the Nacogdoches Farmers Market.

Catfish, barbeque sandwiches, and sausage on-a-stick were served up.

The wagon is available for any function and is anticipated to be a great fundraiser for veteran services.

"We hope to raise money to help veterans here in Nacogdoches County and also to help a building fund," said Post Commander Paul Simpson. "We had land donated to us. We are trying to raise money to build our own post."

The American Legion concession stand will be back at the farmers market on Saturday from eight to six in the evening.

You can also hire them for catering.
