NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

A Nacogdoches woman pleaded guilty to driving intoxicated with six children, accepting a five-month state-jail sentence Friday morning.

Kimberly Evette Pruitt, 28, was arrested in late June after police stopped her for driving at an unsafe speed. The officer found her to be intoxicated and arrested her. She was driving with six children in the vehicle, all under the age of 15.

Pruitt has been in the Nacogdoches County Jail on a $25,000 bond since that time.

District Judge Campbell Cox approved the sentence.
