Copper thieves directly affecting residents

Administrators for the Deep East Texas Electric Co-op say there's a sense of helplessness over them tonight. Last night a copper thief was stealing copper grounding wires at one substation, while at the very same time, repair crews were fixing damage left by similar thefts at other locations. Now the thefts are affecting customers, as crews may have to shut down power to fix the problem. Donna McCollum has the report at 6.

We all know how hot it is outside, but just imagine if you had a big wooly mane. Or lots of fur. At 6, Alexis Spears shows you how the zoo cools down their animals.
