GREEENWOOD COUNTY, SC (WYFF) -  An Upstate woman has been arrested after her newborn son tested positive for cocaine, according to the Greenwood County Sheriff's Office.

A Department of Social Services employee called the sheriff's office after 30-year-old Clorine Light gave birth to the baby on July 26 at Self Regional Hospital in Greenwood.

The police incident report said that Light had a history of drug abuse and the newborn is the fourth of Light's children to test positive for cocaine. Investigators said Light admitted using cocaine while she was pregnant.

On Monday, a family court judge ordered the newborn to stay in the custody of DSS.

Light is charged with unlawful conduct toward a child.
