Police arrest Lufkin man on 3 child sex charges after missing child investigation

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

Lufkin Police arrested a man in connection to three child sex crimes following an investigation into a missing child Monday night.

Police are releasing very little information on the incident, but the report states a missing child investigation resulted in police finding the child and the arrest of David Forrester, 39, of Lufkin, on the 800 block of Shady Pine Street at 11:08 p.m.

Forrester is charged with first-degree aggravated sexual assault of a child, second-degree online solicitation of a minor and third-degree possession of child pornography.

A bond has not yet been set.
