Charges being dropped against accused Nacogdoches Co. arsonist

Posted: Updated:
NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

The Nacogdoches County District Attorney's Office is dismissing criminal charges against a man accused of burning down his girlfriend's home in December 2010.

Back in May, Skidmore's trial ended with a hung jury.

Skidmore wanted to talk about the dismissal publically, but was stopped by his attorney.

His former girlfriend showed displeasure by the decision.

Skidmore was accused of burning down her house because he was upset about her going to a work Christmas party.
