People in Rusk now have a new medical facility. ETMC Rusk opened its doors this weekend. The outpatient facility features a 24-hour emergency center with all of the equipment to serve you in your time of need.
"We have a centralized monitor system so that a doctor or nurse can see what is going on with a patient in their room. We have C.A.T. scan, ultrasound, and x-ray that is computerized and can be sent anywhere in the country," says Emergency Room Director Janice Davis.
The 24,000 square foot facility also features an expanded Olympic Center with an aquatic therapy pool. ETMC also hopes the new facility will provide more jobs for the Rusk area.
