Beef Taco Bake

Recipe from Gayle of TX

1 to 2 lbs hamburger meat

1 pkg of taco seasoning

1 package of Mexican cornbread mix

Preheat your oven to the temperature on the cornbread mix box. Then brown the ground beef. Drain the meat and add in the taco seasoning and water. Allow this mixture to simmer for a bit. Now prepare the cornbread as the packaging suggests. Now spread the taco meat across the bottom of a 9X9 baking pan. Pour the cornbread mix over the meat. Now bake as directed by the cornbread mix. Serve with a side salad or Ranch Style beans. Top with sour cream if desired.
