TRINITY COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Spoiled formula, glass on the floor and two young children are a few of the observations a Trinity County deputy made at a woman's residence before arresting her after she had called 911 Tuesday night.
Sheriff's office Chief Deputy Billy Patton said Casey N. Rainwater, 28, had called 911 and said her boyfriend was assaulting her. When the deputy arrived, he saw Rainwater was extremely intoxicated and had not been assaulted.
The deputy said broken glass was on the floor and two children under the age of three were walking and crawling around it. There was also no running water in the house and sour and mildewed formula was lying around.
Patton said the deputy swept the broken glass, called Child Protective Services and arrested Rainwater on charges of endangering a child and false report.
