Early Voting Numbers are Exceptional

It won't be long before you find out who the new mayor for the City of Nacogdoches will be.

A steady flow of voters have been going in and out of the Nacogdoches Recreation Center to cast their ballots in early voting. The run-off race is between candidates Bradley Reynolds, the current commissioner in the Northeast Ward, and Bob Dunn, a former member of the city commission.

Election officials are proud of the turn out. They say it has been exceptional. So far in early voting for the mayor's race, a total of 520 voters have cast their votes since Monday.

Early voting continues Thursday and runs through Friday from 8:00 am to 5 pm. It will end Friday June 11th.

Election Day will be Tuesday, June 15th, from 7 am to 7 pm. Both early voting and regular voting will take place at the Nacogdoches Recreation Center.
