Pedestrian killed after walking in front of rig in Corrigan

CORRIGAN, TX (KTRE) -

A Houston man died after walking in front of an 18-wheeler in Corrigan early Thursday.

The man, whose name is not yet being released, died on the way to a Houston hospital.

According to Officer Paul Benfer, a Houston man was driving an 18-wheeler northbound on the 800 block of South Hone Street around 3:45 a.m. when the man walked in front of the rig.

The man died around 7:16 a.m.
