A Joaquin man is going to jail for 16 months after pleading guilty Friday to driving while he was high on cocaine with three child passengers.

Stan Howard Kyle, 43, pleaded guilty in Judge Ed Klein's courtroom to three counts of driving while intoxicated with a child passenger.

According to a previous report, a deputy stopped Kyle's Chevy Camaro on State Highway 21 West due to a couple traffic violations.

The deputy determined Kyle was intoxicated and placed him under arrest. During a search, the deputy found Kyle to have cocaine in his possession.

Kyle had three child passengers, aged 3, 8 and 14. Their mother was called to the scene and picked them up.
