NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

A Garrison woman began a probation term Friday after pleading guilty to shooting at her former employer's residence in June.

Danielle Rene Winters, 41, will serve a five-year probated sentence after pleading guilty to a charge of second-degree aggravated assault of a deadly weapon.

Deputies with the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office arrested Winters after they learned she had gotten intoxicated and took a gun to her former supervisor's residence and began shooting at it.

Winters had been fired from her job at Mr. Will's Bar and Grill earlier in the week. She had only worked there a few days and one of the managers had fired her.

District Judge Ed Klein approved the plea agreement.
