MABANK, TX (KLTV) -

Multiple fire departments were dispatched to a blaze in downtown Mabank that broke out Tuesday afternoon.

Nearby businesses said the fire broke out at a business on Market Street just off of 3rd Street in Mabank. We are told the building was locally-owned and under construction at the time of the fire, being turned into an antique shop "Elsie Mae on Market"

Witnesses first reported seeing the smoke right around the 6p.m. hour Tuesday afternoon.

Numerous departments along with an ambulance were called to the scene, but as of 9 p.m Tuesday, the fire was out.

The Mabank Police Department tells KLTV 7 that no one was hurt in the fire.

That building was one of the originals in Mabank, standing since the early 1900s. Total Look Salon, next door, had minor smoke and water damage.
