Heavy rain forces Grapeland ISD to cancel classes

GRAPELAND, TX (KLTV) -

Heavy rain and flooding has caused Grapeland ISD to cancel all classes for Monday, October 1st and possibly for Tuesday October 2nd.

Officials within the district canceled classes Sunday because of the heavy rain they have received over the weekend that has resulted in numerous roads flooded and deemed unsafe.

Classes have been canceled for Monday October 1st and possibly for Tuesday October 2nd for the High School, Junior High School, and elementary school.
