High School Students Speak Out Against Sexual Assault On Their Campus

A nationwide program developed by TAASA, the Texas Association Against Sexual Assault, takes students from high schools and trains them on how to support sexual assault victims at their schools.

The program is developed on the idea that students will be more willing to open up to their peers about problems such as sexual assault.

Amber Herriage, a STAR Presenter said, "I've been through it and there wasn't that many people there to help me so I'd rather, I just want to help everybody."

Herriage and other presenters help prepare awareness programs at their local schools.
