Federal grand jury indicts Lufkin man for attempted robbery of post office

BEAUMONT, TX - A federal grand jury has returned an indictment charging a Lufkin man with attempting to rob a Woodville Post Office, announced U.S. Attorney John M. Bales today.

Keith DeWayne Bailey, 29, is charged with attempting to rob the United States Post Office in Woodville, Texas on October 1, 2012.  If convicted, Bailey faces up to 10 years in prison, a fine not to exceed $250,000 or both.

This case is being investigated by the United States Postal Service and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Joe Batte.
