TRINITY COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -
Trinity County Sheriff's deputies
arrested three Lufkin men on manufacture and delivery charges following a
traffic stop on Highway 94 East early Thursday morning.
During the course of the traffic
stop, the patrol car's dash cam caught footage of the driver throwing something
out his window. The object turned out to be a container of crack cocaine,
according to Trinity County Sheriff Ralph Montemayor.
Andre Lamarcus Castle, 25, and
Coree Jamar Kennedy, 31, were both charged with manufacture or delivery of a
controlled substance, a felony. Brandon Keith Fields, 24, was charged with
delivery of marijuana. All three men were transported to the Trinity County
Jail. Their bond amounts were not readily available.
A press release from the Trinity
County Sheriff's Office stated the traffic stop was initiated by deputies Jake
Armstrong and Jon Archer when the driver of the vehicle failed to signal when
he turned into a local bar located on Highway 94 near the Neches River at about
2 a.m. Thursday.
The deputies also found $1,372 in
cash in the vehicle, and the press release stated that it "may possibly be
seized."
