October is anti-bullying month, and one Lufkin woman is doing her part to fight back.
Big Angie, with Big is Better Productions, has been working with young people to tackle the bullying issue.
Big Angie says she started making YouTube videos at the beginning of the year as a way to reach people from all over.
"Anybody can be a victim of bullying. No matter what your race is, no matter what age you are, a little child can be bullied and so can a grown adult. So I just go around and talk to whoever will let me talk to them about bullying," says Big Angie.
As a victim of bullying herself, Big Angie says she wanted to help out others who found themselves in a similar situation.
Now she talks to kids and mentors them with their bullying problems and how they can overcome them.
"I feel that if I shoot the message anyone out their listening and can say 'Ok if she says it's not okay maybe I should rethink it," says Big Angie.
