Freedom Fighters: Ralph Graham

By Joan Hallmark

Ralph Graham had just finished hiighschool when he joined the army in 1940.

But that discharge didn't come until four years and seven months later, after America's victory in World War Two.

Graham would only stay in the army two years before passing exams for the air corps.

Although he didn't go on as a pilot, Graham went to radio school and became part of a b-17 bomber crew, flying out of England.
