NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - A Nacogdoches insurance agent accused of being part of a neighborhood drug network made his first court appearance on Wednesday.
Bradley Allen Fontenot, 34, is charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
Fontenot did not like a television camera and tried to push it away from his face. A bailiff told him if he did that again, he would be sent back to jail.
The former State Farm agent was arrested in April on allegations that he had cocaine and the date-rape drug, GHB. An investigation by multiple law enforcement agencies placed him in the middle of a multiple-drug distribution network, mainly within residential neighborhoods.
Fontenot was accompanied by his wife, Jamie Rodriguez Fontenot. Court records show a divorce pending between the two.
