Officers respond to burglary after hearing woman's screams

Released by the Tyler Police Department:

On 11-02-2012 at approximately 5:30 pm, Officers were making an arrest near the intersection of Grande and Paluxy Drive when they heard a female screaming for help.  One of the officer's quickly ran to the females location in the 1800 block of Susan Drive.  The female told the responding officer that her house had been burglarized and she believed the suspect was still inside.  Additional officers arrived on scene and a perimeter was established around the residence.  The residence was thoroughly searched, but no one was found inside.  There is no suspect description at this time.  Items were missing from the residence.
