It's one of the fastest growing franchises in the country, and it's based right here in Arizona.
The Tilted Kilt, staffed with scantily clad servers, is now making the big time. And Friday evening, the restaurant chain will be featured on CBS's Undercover Boss.
"I am a huge fan of the show. What a great opportunity this would be," said Ron Lynch, CEO of the Tilted Kilt.
Lynch and his family started the Tilted Kilt in 2005. They now have more than 70 locations across the country. He sees a lot of positives with this show.
"It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, to get in and see firsthand and talk to my employees as a peer and not as Ron Lynch," he said.
The only problem is keeping Ron undercover. Not only is he a famous CEO, but he also stands 6'6" and weighs in at 250 pounds.
"When I walk in, I get busted by the bus boys!" says Lynch.
So they gave Ron a new name, a back story, decked him out in a large kilt, mullet wig and longer beard. His first task was to change out a keg.
Ron did it all - bartending, cooking, managing and busing tables. This experience gave insight into areas of the business that he will fine-tune in the next few months.
"People we have here our fantastic," he said. "I was totally pleased with everyone I worked with. Yes, we had a few that shocked me, but we have a lot of great people I think that will come through."
Lynch will be in the CBS 5 studios for a 6:50 a.m. interview Friday on the CBS 5 Morning Show.
You can see Undercover Boss on CBS 5 at 7 p.m. Friday.
