Police officers arrested three men for burglary of a habitation and evading
arrest after they were spotted jumping the fence at a residence in the 2000
block of Lowery Street early Monday morning. After they were captured, LPD officers learned the men had
allegedly burglarized the home.
Terrance
Jaron Harris, 23, of Lufkin, is still being held in the Angelina County Jail on
charges of burglary of a habitation, evading arrest, and disorderly conduct.
Collectively, his bond has been set at $52,000. Joshua Ryan Nash, 23, and
Lufkin, and Ishmeal Malik Washington, 24, were arrested and charged with
burglary of a habitation and evading arrest. Their collective bonds have each
been set at $51,500.
According
to police reports, an LPD officer spotted the three men fleeing over a fence
and running toward a Chevrolet car at approximately 12:30 a.m. Monday. When the
officer ordered the suspects to stop, they fled on foot.
LPD
officers rounded all three suspects up a short time later. After the three men
were taken into custody, the officers learned that they had burglarized a home
in the 2000 block of Lowery Street.
The
recovered property included two Rossi handguns, a 65-inch Mitsubishi television,
seven hats, 11 pairs of shoes, jewelry, a basket, pink head phones, 10 women's
belts, seven collared shirts, a bath robe, a brown jacket, two pairs of women's
pants, an MTECH knife, scissors, and assorted DVDs.
