NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

A Missouri man pleaded guilty to a felony possession of marijuana charge in a Nacogdoches County district court Thursday.

As part of a plea agreement, Adrian Osborn was sentenced to five years of probation. He was arrested after a routine traffic stop resulted in officers seizing almost 26 pounds of marijuana from the suspects' vehicle.

Osborn will serve his probation term in Missouri as part of an interstate compact agreement.

Suborned was arrested on the felony possession of marijuana charge in June 2011. Also arrested that day was Danetra Rainey, of Missouri.

After Nacogdoches Police officers pulled a car driven by Rainey over for speeding in the 900 block of South St., they suspected illegal activity once they made contact with the two people in the car.

During the search of the vehicle, the NPD officer found 25.6 pounds of marijuana in the rear seating part of the car.
