Freeway on-ramp closed after semi overturns

MESA, AZ (CBS5) -

A semi truck lost its trailer Friday morning on the Loop 202 at Country Club Drive and overturned.

The overturned trailer is blocking the westbound on-ramp to the 202 from Country Club Drive according to the Department of Public Safety (DPS). The ramp is expected to be closed for several hours as they clear up the accident.

DPS said that the ramp is the only thing closed, Loop 202 is still open.

There were no injuries involved with the accident.
