PD investigating Chandler shooting; schools on lockdown

CHANDLER, AZ (CBS5) -

Police in Chandler are looking for a person they believe shot a young man in the stomach late Friday morning.

The incident happened near East Galveston and North Washington streets.

Chandler police said Galveston Elementary School and Chandler High School were on lockdown Friday after the shooting.

Police said they have no information on the suspect.

The suspect and victim may have known each other, police said.

No other details were immediately available.
