Lufkin man injured in FM 58 wreck upgraded to fair condition

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

A Lufkin man injured in a two-vehicle wreck on FM 58 Tuesday night has been upgraded to fair condition.

Gerardo Castillo, 25, had been in critical condition Wednesday.

Castillo was taken by helicopter to a Tyler hospital after he pulled out of FM 2108 and tried to make a left turn onto FM 58 with a Honda Civic. Whitney Morin, 17, crashed her PT Cruiser into Castillo's car.
