TYLER, TX (KLTV) -
'Tis the season for miracles, and today the Children's Miracle Network announced their miracle child.
One-year-old Daniela Guzzetta will represent all CMN children in the area. Daniela was born with Down Syndrome, and has overcome multiple medical obstacles since her birth.
Daniela's parents say they were very surprised and honored to hear their child was this year's Miracle Child.
As the Miracle Child, Daniela will light this year's city of Tyler Christmas tree after the parade on Thursday.
"When they told us we were like yes, of course we're going to do it. 'Cause we want other people to benefit from what we've benefitted from, said Daniela's parents, Joe and Carolina Guzzetta.
