ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -
Three people were taken to the hospital after a 3 vehicle wreck on highway 59 north around 1:30 this afternoon.
According to the DPS report, 23-year-old Channing Cummings of Orange, TX was driving northbound when she hit the red-and-white crash cushion on a work convoy that was working on the road.
Then in a chain reaction, 72-year-old Earl Davis of Lufkin crashed into the back of Cummings.
The drivers of all 3 vehicles were taken to the hospital for unknown injuries.
DPS Troopers on scene say both Cummings and Davis will be cited for failure to control speed.
Traffic was backed up for about 20 minutes.
