Tragedy a short distance from his destination

A Jasper man died this morning after he drove his tanker off the road and it erupted in flames. Maegan Prejean has the shocking footage and story at 6.

A Lufkin man is going to pay for sexually assaulting a child for the rest of his life as a jury gave him the maximum sentence. Caleb Beames has that report at 10.

A growing backlog of disability claims within the VA has been in the news a lot lately. At 5, Donna McCollum explains how new initiatives are helping veterans at a time they most need it.

Also at 6, Michelle Reed will update you on the latest in the refurbishment of a Lufkin landmark. And Samantha Jordan will tell you about the opening of another.

Residents and organizations from across Angelina County made an effort to get healthy one step at a time. Now, they're enjoying the rewards of increasing their physical activity. At 6, Francesca Washington explains how walking benefited them and why they say everyone should do it.

Have a great weekend!
