6 homes evacuated after gas leak in midtown Tucson

Posted: Updated:

Authorities say six homes have been evacuated because of a gas leak in a midtown Tucson neighborhood.

Pima County Sheriff's officials say a gas meter was struck in an alley Monday afternoon and there's a reported leak.

They say Southwest Gas crews are at the scene and trying to repair the leak.

It's not immediately clear how many people in the six evacuated home are affected.

Authorities say no injuries have been reported.
