AVONDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

An Avondale woman said she caught a couple of suspected thieves on camera walking off with a package she bought online. She's hoping by getting the surveillance footage out there, they may get caught.

Sherrie Estep got a text message from Amazon about 1 p.m. Monday, saying her package had been delivered. But her surveillance videos show two complete strangers walking up and taking it a few hours later.

"Gel nail polish to school books for the girls, everything, we buy almost everything online," Estep said. She bought a TV wall mount on Amazon.com, but when she didn't see it sitting on her doorstep Monday, she grew suspicious.

"It just seemed odd that I received a text from Amazon that I received my package but there was no package there," she said.

So she checked the tapes in the surveillance cameras she has around her home. She saw the delivery man bringing the package to her doorstep. But fast forward a few hours, and a man and a woman walk up to Estep's door, ring the doorbell and the man swipes the package.

"The package was hidden behind the column, I don't know how they would know it was there," she said.

Estep's daughter was home, but didn't answer. The suspected crooks made off with the package, but Estep said she's not letting them get away with it.

"We've never had a problem, we used to leave our garage open all the time, but I'll reconsider now," she said.

She didn't recognize the people and neither did police; she's hoping someone will see the video and be able to identify them.
