South Carolina players Jadeveon Clowney and Ace Sanders were named to the first-team All-SEC squad selected by league coaches, according to the athletics department.
Clowney, a sophomore from Rock Hill, is second in the nation in sacks and tackles for loss. He was also a finalist for the Lombardi, Bednarik, Hendricks, and Nagurski awards.
Sanders, a wide receiver and punt return specialist, is the top punt returner in the league and also set the Gamecock single-season record for returns at 363 yards.
As for the other members of All-SEC team, Texas A&M QB and Heisman finalist Johnny Manziel was named first-team QB and Florida running back Mike Gillislee and Alabama running back Eddie Lacy were also named to the squad.
