LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - According to a report by ESPN.com, Lufkin native Dez Bryant will play on Sunday against the Steelers. ESPN was told this information by a source close to Bryant.
"Unless the doctors say he medically can't do it, Dez is going to play," said the source.
Earlier on Tuesday, Cowboys Owner, Jerry Jones, said that it will ultimately be Bryant's decision.
This comes as good news to Cowboys fans. The cowboys are one game out of the division lead and are still in the playoff hunt with three games to go and Bryant has been a key factor over the last month.
Over his last five games, the Lufkin native has 33 catches, for 525 yadrs and 7 touchdowns.
