December in college sports
is highlighted by numerous awards handed out to student athletes. Today
numerous lady jacks were honored by the NCAA.
SFA midfielder Kylie Louw
was named Southland Conference Soccer Athlete of the Year.
She was also named to the First Team All Conference
roster.
Louw is joined on that
list by fellow lady jacks Meagan Dunnigan, Lacey Lee, Laura Sadler and Breanne
Vernon.
The Ladyjacks soccer team
is not alone with receiving recognition.
Senior Randi Plentl was
named the Southland Conference Cross Country Athlete of the Year for the second
consecutive season.
Plentl is one of only two
lady jacks to be named cross country athlete of the year.
