TRINITY COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

Almost 24 hours since a manhunt began, authorities in Trinity County continue their search for a fugitive considered armed and dangerous.

According to Texas Rangers, Leland Randolph is wanted on four felony warrants: burglary of a habitation in Jasper & Hardin County, revocation of probation in Angelina County, possession of a controlled substance and evading arrest in Trinity County.

The Ranger said Randolph was last seen Thursday morning, carrying a handgun on Beef Road near Groveton.

The suspect is described as a white male, 6'2", wearing a black tank top, jeans and tennis shoes. He also has a shaved head.

Authorities in Trinity County have been searching for Randolph since 10 a.m. Thursday after they tried to arrest him on outstanding warrants.

If you know Randolph's location, call the Trinity County Sheriff's Office at (936) 642-1424 or Crime Stoppers of Lufkin at (936) 639-TIPS (8477).

The Trinity County Sheriff's Office, Constables Office, Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Rangers and Texas Game Wardens are all involved in the search.

Multiple requests for an update on the search overnight Friday went unreturned. A dispatcher with the Trinity County Sheriff's Office said no one would be available to give information on the manhunt until later Friday.
