HOUSTON COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -
A Latexo High School student is listed in critical condition after getting hit by a vehicle on US 287 Monday afternoon.
Joshua Gibson, 16, of Crockett, was trying to cross the road about a tenth of a mile south of County
Road 2663 when he was struck by a northbound vehicle around 3:30 p.m.
He was taken by helicopter to a Tyler hospital.
As of Tuesday afternoon, he was listed in critical but stable condition.
